The Federal Government, federal employees, their families and communities, and the safety of every American have been held hostage by the Trump/McConnell Shutdown for over a month now.  They think it's a political game, but we're the ones paying the price.
It's time for all of us to act, to end this shutdown and to give our federal employees, contractors and their families relief.  It's time to stop using federal employees and the Dreamers as pawns.  This isn't a game, this isn't even political, it's just childish and it's time to tell our elected officials to grow up and do their jobs.
On Thursday, January 24th the Senate will vote on two paths forward.  One is a dead end, the other leads out of this shutdown.  We need you to help point the way by calling our two senators and telling them how you want them to vote for you, and for your families and communities.
We have a day to convince both Senators Sinema and McSally to do the right thing and vote for the House's CR bill to end the shutdown and fund the government.

Please call them both and tell them you're tired of the games.  Make it personal, tell them where you're from and what you do, tell them how this shutdown affects your life directly.

Get in touch with them on social media and use the hashtags #JobsNotWalls #MitchShutdown and #TrumpShutdown and if you're a Federal Employee, send pictures of your bills, talk about the strain on your children, make it real for them so they do the right thing.
Don't let them try to rationalize this as a border crisis, that's not reality it's just a political way to silence your voice.

Requesting Asylum Is Not Illegal!  We don't need a wall, we need leaders to serve their constituents, not soothe Trump's fragile ego.
Their contact info is in the blue box, use it!
Call them now and tell them to pass the CR, don't give up until you get through.  Don't let them brush you off, it's too important to sit out, or leave to someone else.  This is on all of us!
